Gameplay & Settings

The league operates on three core principles that guide all rulings and design decisions:
- Realism over exploits
- Balance over spam
- Skill over animation

When a situation isn't explicitly covered by a rule, commissioners will rule in line with these principles.

• Quarters: 9 minutes
• Accelerated Clock: 25 seconds
• Coaches: Custom coaches only — no real coaches
• Player Icons / HUD: Standard size only — no large icons
• Passing System: Revamped Passing required
• Defensive Aids: No defensive assignment assistance allowed
• Score Logging: Posting scores after each game is mandatory. Repeated failures result in fines and eventual removal from the league.

No custom playbooks on offense or defense. Your playbooks are tied to your coordinators and are declared in the Legacy Manager app (My Hub).

• Offense: Your offensive playbook is the one your hired Offensive Coordinator runs. You start with your team's playbook (plus its matching Generic); to change it you hire an OC through the Coaching Carousel and declare the switch in the app.
• Defense: Your defensive playbook is now the one your hired Defensive Coordinator runs — you can no longer freely use any stock defensive playbook. It works exactly like offense: you start with your team's defensive playbook, and to change it you hire a DC through the Coaching Carousel and declare it in the app.

Both offensive and defensive playbook changes are governed by the Coaching Carousel rules in the Recruiting & Off-season category, and are handled in the Legacy Manager app.

• All games must be streamed — both User and CPU games.
• YouTube is required, with archives turned ON.
• If only one coach streams a User vs. User game, the away team is responsible.
• CPU games: One attempt only. No restarts.

• Do not quit games — applies to both User and CPU matchups.
• Trash talk is permitted, but keep it inside the game and respectful.

Violations of any rule in this category may result in:
- Game overturns
- Suspensions
- Loss of commits
- Removal from the league
