TL;DR Quick Reference
9 rules
This summary is not the rules. It is a memory aid for fast pre-game and in-game reference. The full rule, including all exceptions and edge cases, lives in each rulebook category. When in doubt, read the rule, not the TL;DR.
If a TL;DR line and a full rule appear to conflict, the full rule wins.
- 9-min quarters, 25-sec accel clock, Revamped Passing required
- Stream every game (YouTube, archives ON) — away streams if only one
- Don't quit. Log scores. Custom coaches only. No defensive aids.
- Stock playbooks only — offense locked to your team's PB + Generic
- Filing a complaint costs 3 LP + requires evidence
- Valid complaint = refund + +0.5 LP bonus; bogus complaint = forfeit + possible fines
- Complaining in main channel is not filing a case
- Regular season games = LP. Season N rate = 1.0 + 0.1 × (N−1)
- Sims = 0 LP, no exceptions, no fault-based appeals
- Penalties (e.g., NIL overspend) and bonuses (e.g., valid complaints) are commissioner-entered
- Routes: Slants/Texas before crossing QB face. Drags/crossers = primary read only (mesh exception). Comebacks can't complete inside opp 25. Conservative Catch outside the numbers = punt next play.
- PA / RPO: On-schedule only — 1st & 10, 2nd & ≤6, 3rd & ≤4, 4th & ≤2
- Hot Routes: 1 per play, outside WR (X/Z), QB or WR 88+ OVR, slant/hitch/quick out/fade only
- No-huddle: Snap at :28 (hurry-up exception inside 2:00 of Q2/Q4)
- Chew clock vs CPU: Q4 only, must be up 17+
- 4th down: Q1–Q3 restricted by field position; Q4 user discretion. Fakes always legal.
- Pocket: 2-second wait before bailing on non-designed rollouts
- Banned: User Playmaker, swerving WRs, goal-line offense outside the 10
- RB receptions: ≤20% of team total (30% with Safety Valve)
- Run/pass balance: Neither side over 69.9%, reviewed Wks 4/8/12 + post-season
- Wide split & 4-WR/5-WR QB runs: Banned inside either 25 unless using approved personnel package (1RB-1TE-3WR / 2RB-1TE-2WR / 2TE-3WR / 1RB-2TE-2WR)
- TE Flat RPO: 1 flat pass per game
- Rush 3+ every down
- User-control a LB or DB off the LOS only — never a DL
- If you control a blitzer, you must blitz
- User LBs: Start 4+ yds off LOS unless blitzing. No A/B-gap shoots without called blitz.
- No manual DL adjustments (spy/drop) unless baked into the play
- Stunts/twists: Load, Rush, or Mug fronts only (TOM stunts always legal)
- Cover 0: Banned on 1st & 10
- Cover 2 Man: 3rd & 7+ only, once per drive (prevent/2-min exempt)
- FS/SS at SubLB: Only if Gold or Purple Team Player or Instinct badge
- No goal-line defense outside the 10 / inches-to-go
- Position changes: ATH (top-5 fit, no WR→TE, post in Athlete Declarations channel) • S (FS↔SS only, no CB→S) • OL (any↔any) • EDGE (LEDG↔REDG, no EDGE→DT) • LB (Will/Mike/Sam interchangeable). Nothing else allowed.
- Redshirts: Manual = banned. Medical = admin approval required.
- Player retention: Persuade anyone to stay by paying NIL — no "must let leave" rules. Draft = $5M→$1M by round (+$2.5M QB); brand exposure = $1M flat. Charged to next season's budget.
- Portal visits banned
- HS visits blocked until Week 5 (conf/rivalry exception)
- S13 NIL values (new): HS Top 10 $4.5M → 1★ $75K · Portal T10 $5M → 1★ $350K · +$2.5M national-tier portal QB
- Playbook changes (offense and defense) = offseason only, require a coordinator hire + declaration in the app (Coaching Carousel)
- Recruiting budget = your in-game DP total, entered by you on My Hub (tier table is a fallback only). Retention is charged to next season's budget.
Going over budget triggers all four next season:
- 25% NIL budget deduction
- Additional deduction = highest-paid incoming player's value
- Highest-rated incoming recruit nerfed to 30 OVR
- −12 LP
