South Carolina 48, Texas A&M 14

The Bonham Trophy is heading to Columbia.

South Carolina delivered one of its most dominant performances of the USDA season, dismantling Texas A&M 48–14 in a game that was never truly in doubt. From the opening kickoff, the Gamecocks controlled the tempo and steadily pulled away from the Aggies.

South Carolina jumped out to a 14–0 first-quarter lead and continued to pour it on in the second, taking a commanding 31–7 advantage into halftime. The Gamecocks added another 17 points after the break while holding Texas A&M to just one touchdown in the second half.

The numbers tell the story of the dominance. South Carolina piled up 516 total yards, compared to 362 for Texas A&M, while producing 28 first downs to the Aggies’ 12. The Gamecocks also controlled the ground game, rushing for 351 yards on 45 carries.

Texas A&M simply couldn’t keep pace. South Carolina’s offense consistently moved the chains, created explosive plays, and kept the Aggies’ defense under pressure throughout the afternoon.

For Coach Swim, the victory is more than another win on the USDA schedule. It’s a trophy game — and now the Bonham Trophy belongs to South Carolina.

The Gamecocks didn’t just take the trophy.

They took it convincingly.
