FSU Has Everything… Except a Leader

Aug 11, 2026 · 13:06 by @Swimfunk

The Florida State Seminoles are one of the most intriguing situations in the USDA League right now. A historic program competing in the ACC, FSU has the recruiting territory, talent and national reputation to be a championship contender. But there’s one major problem in Tallahassee: the Seminoles currently don’t have a leader.

That makes this job one of the most attractive openings in the league. Florida State has everything a coach could want — a strong recruiting base, a proud history and the opportunity to dominate the ACC. This isn’t a rebuild. The pieces are already there. Someone just needs to step in and put it all together.

The biggest question is who can handle the pressure. FSU needs more than a coach; they need someone willing to make the program their own, establish an identity and bring confidence back to the Seminoles. Without that leadership, all the talent in the world won’t matter.

Rumor has it three coaches are already interested in the job. Now the USDA League waits to see who is willing to take the reins. Florida State has the tradition, the talent and the stage. All they’re missing is the person to lead them.
