How LP Is Earned
Every regular-season game you actually play earns LP at your season's rate.
- Season 1 pays 1.0 LP per game. Every season after that adds 0.1 — Season 2 pays 1.1, Season 3 pays 1.2, and so on. (Season N = 1.0 + 0.1 × (N − 1).)
- Week 0 is a real week and pays like any other.
- The National Championship pays +1.0 LP to both teams, and +4.0 more to the winner. A title is worth 5.0 LP — the biggest single prize on the board.
- Conference championships, playoff rounds and bowl games pay nothing. Only the regular season and the title game move LP.
Later seasons pay more on purpose. It is easy to be active when a dynasty is brand new. Still scheduling, still playing, still holding your spot in Season 8 means more, and the rate says so.
When the league moves to a new EA title, season numbering restarts at Season 1 — and so does the rate.
