Clock & Tempo

Last updated Aug 27, 2026
  • No-huddle is a tempo change, not a substitution trick. Let the defense get lined up and get its personnel on the field before you snap. Genuine hurry-up — inside two minutes of either half, or chasing points late — is fully legal.
  • Chew the clock against the CPU once the game is decided and you are comfortably ahead. That is a courtesy to the schedule, not a tactic. If the CPU makes it a game again, turn it back off.
