• OL: any ↔ any.
• LB: Will / Mike / Sam interchangeable.
• S: FS ↔ SS only (no CB → S).
• EDGE: LEDG ↔ REDG (no EDGE → DT).
• ATH: where he is top five on your depth chart, no WR → TE, and post it in Athlete Declarations.

Formation and package substitutions stay unrestricted. This rule is about a player's listed position.

• Manual redshirts are banned.
• Medical redshirts need admin approval.

In the Players Leaving phase you may persuade anyone to stay — no limits on who or how many. The game sets the price in Dynasty Points.

Retention is charged to NEXT season's budget. Log everyone you keep on My Class at what you actually paid; it comes off next season's room when the season rolls over. Keeping a star costs you in the year you have to replace him.
