Coverage is a situational decision, not a setting you leave switched on.

• Cover 0 is a pressure call, not a base call — never on first-and-10.
• Cover 2 Man is a change-up, not your answer to every passing down. If an offense can tell you your coverage before the snap because it is always the same, you are not running a defense.
